- What counts as one order
- The first check for a given order reference, in a given shop, in a given calendar month. Repeat checks on the same order reference, a retry, a replay from the queue, a payment callback firing twice, a label arriving later, are not counted again.
- What is never billed
- Test checks, and checks that carry only a session reference without an order. Neither reaches the counter. Free checks do not reach it either.
- The first 100 orders
- Free, once. When your subscription starts, a one-time credit of €5.00 is added to your account and used up by your first 100 checked orders. It is an introduction, not a monthly quota: from the 101st order on, every order is five cents, in every month.
- Moving between the plans
- Upgrading takes one Stripe Checkout and applies from that moment. An order already checked earlier in the same calendar month is not billed again. Cancelling returns the account to Free rather than closing it: protection for your own shop continues and only the network signals stop.
- Rate limits and key freezes
- Both plans carry a rate limit per API key, and we reserve the right to freeze a key whose query pattern does not look like trade. Ordinary checkout traffic meets neither. The Terms set the fair use limit for the Free plan in section 3 and the key freeze for both plans in section 6.
- The billing period
- The calendar month, in UTC. An order counts in the month its check reached Heatrail. The counter is append-only and is not retroactively adjusted.
- Cancellation
- Any time, from the Stripe billing portal, without contacting us. The subscription runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and then stops.
- Card details
- Collected and stored by Stripe through Stripe Checkout, and managed afterwards through the Stripe billing portal. Card data never touches a Heatrail server.
- VAT
- Prices are excluding VAT. VAT is charged where it applies under Estonian and EU law, and section 4 of the Terms is the binding text. If your VAT position needs to be settled before you register, the reverse charge for a VAT-registered business in another member state for example, write to hello@heatrail.eu and we will settle it in writing.
- Paperwork
- The Terms of Service and the data processing agreement are accepted during registration. There is no separate contract round, and no sales call in between.
